COVID-19 Education Challenge
With the closure of libraries, schools, and public institutions due to COVID-19, the value add of our organization has never been more evident. The COVID-19 education challenge will provide FREE books, guided reading instructions, and the opportunity to enter a drawing for a FREE bike. We will deliver 3-5 books to children in need in Springfield and Dayton. Due to COVID-19, this will be a non-contact delivery. We encourage ALL individuals to participate in the DCR Education Challenge even if you do not need our organization to provide books. If interested, complete the information below and we will follow-up with future details while supplies last.

Book Access in the Post-COVID Era
As schools and libraries have closed because of COVID-19, book access is an even more pressing issue for students worldwide. Molly Ness, Susan B. Neuman, Allister Chang, and Karlos Marshall talk about the realities of book access in homes, schools, and communities in a post-COVID world and the impact the lack of access has on students.

We need you to amplify your voice, spread our message, and help others Declare Children’s Rights! Follow these simple steps to help us build a movement:
1) Take the pledge and comment on social media with “I agree that Children Have the Right to Read!” #DeclareIt
2) Complete the reading guides and submit them to our challenge organizers. #DoIT
3) After completing each reading guide, have your student take a photo with the book. Tag us in the post with the following caption: “Enter Student’s Name Here read Enter Book Name Here for Tag Our Organization Here) COVID-19 Children’s Right to Read Education Challenge!! #DCRpledge #Right2Read”
